The result is our extremely sturdy glass straw, 100% Made in Germany, reusable for your whole life, absolutely taste-neutral, free from harmful substances and of course 100% plastic-free.
The result speaks for itself: by using our straws, more than 1 million plastic straws are already saved every day. We're proud of that! HALM is so much more than just a straw made of glass. But HALM is a mission! On this page you'll find out everything about our product and our philosophy.

Glass Is the Best Option
In our search for eco-friendly alternatives to plastic straws, we tried out and compared many other options such as bamboo, stainless steel and silicone. Our clear choice was glass. Because only glass is reusable, sustainable, hygienic, easy to clean and timelessly stylish all at once.
Cleaning in the dishwasher
Wondering how to clean our HALM glass straws? We hear this question a lot, and we can put your mind at rest: cleaning HALM is super quick and done in no time.
As our HALM straws are dishwasher-safe, you can simply clean them in the cutlery basket of your dishwasher. At the push of a button they are hygienically clean again and ready to be reused.
How It All Began
The idea behind HALM began at a beach cleanup in Thailand in 2016. Our founders Hannah Cheney and Sebastian Müller wanted to take action against the flood of plastic and the millions of plastic straws that are used and thrown away every day.
HALM for the planet
With HALM, we have developed a product that stops exactly this flood of plastic. By using our reusable glass straws, our customers together save more than one tonne (!) of waste every day - a vast amount of single-use straws!With our “HALM Less Waste Initiative” we go one step further: by supporting cleanups around the world, we collect one kilo of waste for every HALM set sold.

Ich habe die HALMe gewählt, weil deren Innendurchmesser ausreichend groß ist, um auf die Dorne (Tellerhalter) der Spülmaschine zu passen, so dass man sie dort problemlos reinigen kann. Die Verarbeitung ist perfekt, vor allem auch an den Enden, die Schnittkanten sind so abgerundet, dass die Halme ein angenehmes "Mundgefühl" bieten.

Qualitativ hochwertige Glashalme, angenehm zu verwenden, mit witzigen Aperol-Titeln für die Aperol Fangemeinde!

Da ich die Röhrchen verschenke kann ich nur das optische bewerten. Machen einen stabilen Eindruck und die Idee mit dem gravieren find ich mega. Sieht gut aus 😃. Da der beschenkten ihre alten Röhrchen (anderer Hersteller) alle nach und nach zerbrachen, hoffe ich das diese etwas langlebiger sein werden😎
Die Halme in in neon grün und Kölsche Sprüche sind super und im ständigen Einsatz. Ob für Cocktails, Saft, Milchshake, Latte etc.
Die Reinigung ist einfach, entweder in der Spülmaschine oder per Hand.
Lieferung schnell und wenn ein Produkt leider auf dem Postweg kaputt gegangen ist, bekommt man sofort Ersatz. Ich kann die Firma nur empfehlen!
Gekauft für einen Stanley Cup anstelle des Plastikstrohhalms. Tut was er soll. Leicht in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen. Hätte allerdings nur zwei gebraucht, gab es aber nur im 6er Pack
