Cleaning & care
You don't need to clean our glass straws before using them for the first time. They arrive at your home already cleaned.
Cleaning our HALM glass straws is super easy, as they are completely dishwasher-safe. Simply put them in the cutlery basket of your dishwasher or, alternatively, place them on the prongs.
If you don't have a dishwasher, you can quickly rinse your straws with the enclosed brush. Just hold them under running water and use a little washing-up liquid. Then let them dry standing upright.
Thanks to the transparent glass, you can always see whether everything is hygienically clean.

How sturdy are HALM straws?
Quality and safety are our top priority. Using HALM straws guarantees you a safe and comfortable drinking experience.
Since 2016, thousands of bars, restaurants, hotels, cafés and industrial companies as well as millions of households around the world have trusted the quality and strength of HALM glass straws. The daily endurance test in private households and hospitality businesses proves that HALM is the perfect companion for your drink. As HALM can be enjoyed safely in your drinks, we even recommend them, under parental supervision, for children aged 3 and up.
Your HALM gets its exceptional strength from the perfect ratio between wall thickness and inner diameter. That's why handling and cleaning are extremely easy and become a highlight of your drinking experience. Should your HALM straw accidentally be dropped, it will remain intact in most cases. And should it break on a very hard surface after all, the glass can be removed easily and safely and disposed of directly in a glass recycling container. Our production and quality assurance team makes sure that all HALM straws have successfully passed several quality checks to ensure that your HALM straws are delivered to you in perfect condition and last a lifetime!

Are HALM straws dishwasher-safe?
Our glass withstands temperatures from -40 to +200 degrees. Cleaning in the dishwasher is therefore no problem at all. We recommend placing them upright in the cutlery basket so that your HALM straws get rinsed through properly.
Don't have a dishwasher at home? Then you can simply clean your HALM straws with our plastic-free cleaning brush, which is included with every set. If you need more, you can easily order additional cleaning brushes or our professional brush in our webshop.
What temperatures can HALM straws withstand?
Our special HALM glass withstands temperatures from -40°C to +200°C. It conducts temperatures rather than taking them on directly, which means there is less risk of burns with our HALM. Whether latte macchiato or strawberry mojito - with our HALM straws you can enjoy both hot and ice-cold drinks. How long does shipping take for a custom-engraved order?
Thanks to our fast production team, you can expect the same delivery time for custom-engraved orders as for standard sets.
We usually hand your order over to the relevant shipping provider within 1-3 working days (exception: for bank transfer in advance, after receipt of payment). As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an automatic shipping confirmation with all the relevant information.
Within Germany, you can expect a delivery time of 1-4 working days from the shipping confirmation. If you need it faster, we recommend our express shipping. Please note that we have no influence on how busy Deutsche Post and DHL are. So it's fingers crossed for a speedy delivery.
